Summary: Leica Biosystems is a global leader in cancer diagnostics, committed to advancing diagnostics and improving lives. The Customer Care Specialist will be responsible for processing orders, coordinating with customers and cross-functional teams, and resolving customer issues while ensuring compliance with established guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Order-to-Invoice Execution, responsible for the accurate processing and coordination of routine order-to-invoice activities, including consumables and instrument orders, invoicing, rental documentation, and order follow-up to ensure timely fulfilment, billing accuracy, and compliance with established procedures
- Customer and Cross-Functional Coordination, act as a key operational link between customers, Logistics, and internal stakeholders, ensuring effective communication, issue resolution, and timely escalation of customer and order-related matters
- Credit Note and Returns Administration Support asset management, credit note processing, invoice corrections, and returns administration while maintaining accurate, complete, and traceable records
- Customer Issue Resolution and Compliance, investigate routine customer enquiries, complaints, and disputes, resolving issues within established guidelines while ensuring compliance with quality, regulatory, and documentation requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Multiple years of positive work experience (1–3+) preferably in customer care or customer facing role
- High school diploma required
- Proficiency in English
- Ability to work an on-site, flexible shift schedule in Deer Park, IL
- Travel: up to 5% for training or team meetings
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred
- Hands-on experience with SAP or another ERP for order management and invoicing, is a plus
- Experience with DBS tools, including PSP, Kaizen, and Standard Work, is a plus
- Additional languages is a plus
- Experience in Life Sciences, Medical Devices, or Diagnostics industry with understanding of regulatory requirements
- Previous exposure to Danaher Business System (DBS) tools and continuous improvement methodologies
