Arxada is looking for a Production Supervisor to join our team at the Arxada Kabinburi Plant in Prachinburi. This position is accountable for managing plant production operations to ensure products are manufactured in compliance with Arxada quality standards and production requirements. The role is responsible for driving operational efficiency and performance against established targets and production plans, as well as ensuring all production equipment and facilities are maintained in safe and optimal operating condition.
- Supervise, coordinate, and control daily manufacturing operations to ensure production targets, quality standards, safety requirements, and operational objectives are achieved.
- Plan, assign, and monitor work activities, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and in accordance with production schedules and established procedures.
- Review and close batch records accurately, monitor production yields and batch cycle times, and analyze performance against established standards and plans.
- Oversee production processes and equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant manufacturing operations.
- Monitor product manufacturing activities involving various raw materials and processing methods, ensuring adherence to quality specifications.
- Evaluate employee performance, productivity, and work quality, providing guidance, coaching, and corrective actions as required.
- Investigate and troubleshoot manufacturing issues, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Planning, Logistics, Quality Control, and other departments to ensure smooth production operations and timely resolution of operational issues.
- Analyze production schedules, determine equipment and processing requirements, and adjust priorities to accommodate urgent production needs and schedule changes.
- Maintain discipline, foster employee engagement, and promote a positive workplace environment.
- Verify employee attendance and timekeeping records for accuracy.
- Support employees in work planning, machine setup, operation, and inspection activities to optimize productivity and product quality.
- Drive a strong safety culture by promoting safety awareness, enforcing safety policies, and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and procedures.
- Take immediate action to address unsafe conditions or behaviors and reinforce safe work practices throughout the department.
- Conduct safety, operational, SOP, and housekeeping training programs to enhance employee competency and compliance.
- Participate in production and operational meetings, providing updates on performance, issues, and improvement initiatives.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and develop performance improvement plans when necessary.
- Support recruitment activities by participating in candidate interviews and selection processes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date production records, reports, and departmental documentation.
- Ensure the production office, work areas, and equipment are maintained in a clean, safe, and organized condition.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, departmental procedures, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Perform inventory cycle counts and ensure the accuracy of inventory transactions and material movements.
- Undertake additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Production Manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of manufacturing experience, including at least 2–3 years in a supervisory role within a chemical, process, or manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of production processes, quality systems, safety regulations, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proven leadership, problem-solving, communication, and people management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and drive operational excellence.
