Job Description
Summary: Lattice Semiconductor is a global community focused on developing programmable logic solutions through innovation and customer service. They are seeking an Intern to design and implement agentic AI workflows, assist in building multi-agent systems, and collaborate with engineers to enhance system performance.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement agentic AI workflows , including planning, reasoning, tool usage, and memory management
- Assist in building multi agent systems and agent orchestration flows
- Prototype agent pipelines using LLMs and prompt engineering techniques
- Evaluate agent behavior, performance, reliability, and failure modes
- Contribute to system documentation, design notes, and technical reports
- Collaborate with engineers to improve system robustness, scalability, and observability
Required Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Master's, or PhD in: Computer Science
- Currently pursuing a Master's, or PhD in: Artificial Intelligence
- Strong programming skills in Python
- Understanding of: Basic ML and deep learning concepts
- Understanding of: Natural Language Processing (NLP)
- Familiarity with: LLM concepts (prompting, embeddings, context windows)
- Familiarity with: Software system design fundamentals
- Ability to quickly learn new frameworks and tools
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with: Agent frameworks (e.g., LangChain)
- Experience with: Workflow orchestration or state machines
- Knowledge of: Reinforcement learning basics
- Knowledge of: LLM fine-tuning
- Knowledge of: Vector and graph databases
- Prior internship or project experience in AI/ML systems
