Role Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Embedded system development Engineer with strong experience in embedded systems development preferably in motor control & power electronics. The ideal candidate will lead development design and development activities. create robust development strategies, guide team, and ensure the highest quality of embedded control software used in motor-driven applications.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform end-to-end development lifecycle for embedded systems with motor control functionality.
- Create and review matrices for embedded firmware and control algorithms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Firmware, Hardware, Systems, Motor Control Engineers) to understand requirements and define development scope.
Key Expectations
Strong experience in C/C++ programming on 8 bit, 16 bit, and 32 bit microcontrollers
Experience developing firmware drivers for UART, IC, SPI, and CAN communication
Hands on experience with memory devices such as EEPROM and NAND/NOR Flash for data and parameter storage
Good understanding of motors and motor control, including BLDC motors, Trapezoidal Control, and Field Oriented Control (FOC)
Good knowledge of Battery Management Systems (BMS)
Able to read and understand hardware schematics and PCBA layouts and work closely with hardware teams
Basic knowledge of Python for scripting and test support
Good understanding of RTOS basics and multithreaded programming
Experience in hardware testing and debugging using Multimeter, Logic Analyzer, Oscilloscope, and Function Generator
Familiar with development and project tools such as GitHub, Bitbucket, JIRA, and SVN
Documentation
- Ability to create all required managerial and technical artifacts with required clarity
Team Guidance
- Mentor junior team and ensure adherence to processes.
- Drive best practices in embedded development, safety, and hardware handling.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelors or Master’s in Electronics, Electrical, Embedded Systems, or related field.
- 2- 15 years of hands-on experience in development of embedded systems.
- Strong understanding of motor control fundamentals (BLDC, PMSM, ACIM).
- Knowledge of control algorithms, PWM, current sensing, hall/encoder feedback, and power electronics fundamentals.
- Experience on MCUs such as STM32, TI C2000, NXP, Renesas, Microchip, or Infineon.
- Ability to work with oscilloscopes, power analyzers, CAN tools, and embedded debugging tools.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in root cause analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Good-to-Have Skills
- Exposure to MATLAB/Simulink-based control models.
- Experience with HIL testing (dSPACE, OPAL-RT, Speedgoat).
- Knowledge of communication protocols: CAN, UART, SPI, I2C.
- Basic scripting knowledge (Python, Shell) for test automation is a plus.
- Understanding of safety standards (IEC 60730, ISO 26262 depending on sector).
