Summary: Landmark Properties, Inc. is seeking a Development Intern for the Fall 2026 semester. The intern will report to the development analyst team and will be responsible for compiling, analyzing, and reporting data related to student housing and multifamily development opportunities. Responsibilities: - Research market conditions and report/present quantitative data on rental rates, occupancy, pre-lease, demographics, supply, demand, and other market indicators in target markets - Assist in underwriting pro forma financial models for potential development opportunities. This includes but is not limited to general Excel modeling and conducting research on market rents, property taxes, and government fees - Assist in the preparation of investment memoranda and other presentations for equity and debt capital raising - Assist with the preparation of offers for land purchases and ground leases - Perform general research and financial analysis for deals in various stages of the development life cycle Required Qualifications: - Enrolled in Bachelor's or Master's degree program in a relevant major (Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, etc.) with an excellent academic record and demonstrated interest in real estate - Succinct and effective written and oral communication skills - A motivated self-starter, problem solver, and team player - Strong organizational, interpersonal, analytical, and leadership skills - Computer skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint - Ability to accomplish assigned tasks with limited guidance and supervision Preferred Qualifications: - Familiarity with Google Earth Pro, AxioMetrics, CoStar, College House, and Smartsheet a plus Required Skills: Microsoft Excel, Financial analysis Important Skills: Microsoft PowerPoint, Research skills Nice-to-Have Skills: Google Earth Pro, AxioMetrics, CoStar, College House, Smartsheet, Leadership skills Internship Start Date: Start in 2026 Fall
