L.A. Hydro-Jet & Rooter Service is looking for a Customer Service Representative at our Sun Valley office, you will be responsible for handling a high volume of incoming service calls, assisting customers, and coordinating service requests. This role is essential in ensuring a positive customer experience while supporting multiple internal departments.

SCHEDULE: Sunday – Thursday. Shifts will vary between: • 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (earliest shift) • 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM (closing shift)
WHAT L.A. HYDRO-JET NEEDS FROM YOU:
• Triage a high volume of incoming service calls and determine the nature of each request • Speak with customers by phone and create service calls in the system • Create new service site records for new customers • Book work orders received via email and online portals • Confirm and update customer account information as needed • Handle multiple tasks and software systems simultaneously • Manage multiple accounts and ensure invoices are uploaded to the appropriate customer portals • Address billing or service concerns and escalate service issues to appropriate departments • Work closely with multiple internal departments to resolve customer issues • Perform additional duties as assigned
WHAT SETS YOU APART:
• Certificate from a college or technical school OR 2–5 years of related customer service experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience • Strong ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Ability to remain professional and calm when handling customer concerns • Dependable with strong attendance and punctuality • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and general computer systems • Ability to type 40 WPM minimum • Experience with data entry and working with multiple software systems
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Regularly required to sit for extended periods • Frequently required to use hands for typing and handling paperwork • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
L.A. Hydro-Jet & Rooter Service determines compensation based on the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. Pay for this position is $21-22/hr. Pay is based on a number of factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
