Kura→
Marketing Executive at Kura in Umhlanga Rocks, KwaZulu-Natal
Job Description
About Kura
Kura provides outsourced customer service, helping businesses improve how they support their customers. Our vision is to be unrivalled in developing people, and our marketing needs to reflect the care, capability and personality behind our business.
The role
This is a varied, hands-on role working closely with our client partnerships and wider teams. One day you could be turning a client success story into a case study; the next, preparing an event campaign or interviewing a colleague for social content.
You’ll help keep our marketing activity organised, consistent and relevant to the people we want to reach.
What you’ll be doing
- Writing and creating content for LinkedIn, our website, email campaigns and sales materials.
- Turning input from colleagues into clear case studies, articles and client stories.
- Managing the content calendar and coordinating contributions across the business.
- Supporting events, roundtables and awards with promotional content, presentations and follow-up materials.
- Keeping website content and marketing collateral up to date and on brand.
- Working with our commercial teams on campaigns that support relevant conversations with prospective clients.
- Tracking performance and using what you learn to improve future activity.
- Coordinating with designers and other external partners when needed.
What we’re looking for
- Experience in a marketing role, with examples of content or campaigns you’ve delivered.
- Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to make complex subjects clear and interesting.
- A good eye for design and confidence creating content using Canva or similar tools.
- Experience using social media for business, particularly LinkedIn.
- Good organisation, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
- Confidence working with colleagues at different levels and asking questions to get the information you need.
- Someone who takes ownership, brings ideas and sees work through to completion.
Experience in B2B marketing, professional services or customer experience would be useful. Familiarity with HubSpot, website content management and email marketing would also be an advantage.
Why join Kura?
You’ll have the opportunity to shape work that gets seen and used across the business, collaborate with colleagues in South Africa and the UK, and develop your skills across a broad range of marketing activity.
We’re looking for someone who wants to understand our business, find the stories worth telling and help us tell them well.
