Summary: Kulicke & Soffa is seeking an Intern in Mechanical Engineering to join their team in Santa Ana, CA. The intern will assist engineers with tasks such as assembly and testing of new designs, data collection, and reporting, as well as analysis of results and test report writing. Responsibilities: - Working with various Engineers on ME team, intern will assist in completing tasks - Assembly and testing new designs and/or commercial components along with data collection/reporting are the primary tasks - Analysis of results, test report writing and review will be required - Additional work with NX CAD to help design and detail parts used in assemblies may be required (no prior NX experience needed) Required Qualifications: - 3+ years of Mechanical Engineering college completion - Familiar with using a CAD program (Solidworks or AutoCAD or equivalent) - Hands on skills, ability to put together mechanical assemblies, use measurement equipment and interest in mechanical assemblies Required Skills: Mechanical Engineering, CAD Software Important Skills: Hands-on Skills, Measurement Equipment Nice-to-Have Skills: Test Report Writing
