About the Opportunity
KU Biyala Kindergarten is now open and welcoming children and families into its vibrant learning community. Architecturally designed and purpose-built, Biyala Kindergarten is a sessional kindergarten located in Armstrong Creek, delivering a high-quality, government-funded kindergarten program.
We are seeking a Diploma Qualified Educator to join our kindergarten program, working the following rostered hours each week:
Monday: 8 hours
Tuesday: 2.5 hours
Wednesday: 8 hours
The Kindergarten operates in line with the Victorian school term calendar under VECTEA, offering a sustainable work pattern with regular school holiday breaks. With set session times, you can focus on delivering high-quality educational programs while maintaining balance in your week.
You will be part of a supportive team committed to building a positive, collaborative culture and delivering meaningful learning outcomes for children and families.
What We’re Looking For
- An ACECQA-approved Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications
- Completed ‘Mandatory reporting and other obligations’ training
- Completed National Child Safety Training via Geccko (Foundation)
- A current Working with Children Check
- Knowledge of the Education and Care Services National Law, National Regulations and the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF)
- A positive, flexible approach and a passion for creating engaging learning experiences for children
