Job Description
Summary: KRAFTON Inc. is a global gaming company known for its innovative games like PUBG: Battlegrounds. They are seeking an HR intern to learn about the gaming industry while assisting the Human Resources Team with various projects and tasks over a 12-week onsite internship.
Responsibilities:
- Intern will learn the basics of HR and have the opportunity to sit down 1:1 with various members of the People team throughout the internship timeline (HRBP, Central HR, Employee Relations, Recruiting, Payroll, etc
- At the end of the internship, intern will present the trainings and any findings to a small internal audience
- Feedback Management ProjectResearch and analyze best ways to off-board employees and support current processes, while discovering new innovative ways to drive employee feedback forward
- Compliance ProjectIntern will be given a 2 part in-depth compliance project reviewing best practices and support the overall improvement of company policy and procedures
- Assist with administrative tasks such as maintaining personnel records and preparing reports
- Participate in our Culture Committee/Guild (optional)
Required Qualifications:
- Must have a high level of interest in pursuing a career in Employee Relations or Business Partnering
- Must demonstrate the ability to maintain an exceptional level of confidentiality
- Well organized with attention to detail and ability to carry out tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate with diverse populations
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Eager to learn, has a passion for people and culture, and is committed to making a positive impact
- Must be pursuing a degree in Human Resources Management (A minor in Psychology a plus)
- Knowledge of employment laws, both federal and state
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant experience in Human Resources preferred
- Critical and creative thinking skills
- Self starter
- Experience with Microsoft office software and/or Google suite
- Local to the Los Angeles area (Neither relocation nor housing is available for this internship.)
