Komatsu Mining Technologies is seeking an experienced Brand and Product Marketing Manager to lead brand, marketing communications, events and strategic market intelligence across Australia. This influential role will strengthen Komatsu’s market position, support business growth and create consistent, high-quality customer experiences across every channel and touchpoint.

You will act as the Australian custodian of Komatsu’s brand standards, partnering with sales, service, regional and product teams to translate customer needs, segment trends and commercial priorities into targeted marketing plans, campaigns and compelling customer value propositions.

From major trade shows and corporate hospitality to advertising, digital content and customer events, you will lead high-profile initiatives that build visibility and engagement. Combining strategic thinking, commercial judgement and strong execution, you will lead a small team, manage budgets and suppliers, and build trusted relationships with senior leaders, customers, industry bodies, global teams and external partners

Key role functions

• Develop and execute brand and segment marketing plans that strengthen Komatsu’s market position, support growth priorities and improve customer engagement
• Champion Komatsu’s brand standards across sites, vehicles, signage, merchandise, advertising, digital channels and customer-facing materials
• Plan and deliver targeted marketing communications, campaigns, content and customer value propositions in partnership with sales, service, regional and product teams
• Lead major trade shows, industry conferences, corporate hospitality, customer events and regional brand activities
• Lead market and competitor intelligence, reporting actionable insights that support strategic decisions, Salesforce visibility and market development

What you bring

• Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications, business, commerce or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
• Significant experience across marketing communications, brand management, events and strategic marketing, ideally in a B2B, industrial, mining, construction or capital equipment environment
• Strong knowledge of brand governance, campaign planning, event delivery, digital marketing channels and supplier management
• The ability to analyse customer, market and competitor information and translate insights into clear executive reporting and practical marketing action
• Commercial acumen, with experience in budget planning, cost control, procurement coordination and return-on-investment evaluation
• Confidence using Microsoft Office, Salesforce or similar CRM systems, digital marketing tools and platforms
• Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across regions, functions, customers and external partners
• A strategic, customer-focused and highly organised approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

Your impact
