Job Description
Summary: Kognitiv Inc. is a rapidly growing company redefining what it means to be a Workday partner. They are seeking a Workday Student Financials Architect/Consultant to lead implementations and mentor junior talent, while innovating solutions for higher education institutions.
Responsibilities:
- Architect Solutions: Design, configure, and deploy Workday Student in a way that actually solve the unique headaches of higher-ed institutions
- Be the Expert in the Room: Lead client sessions to dig into their true needs. You’ll advise on best practices while being flexible enough to pivot when their needs change
- Lead & Mentor: You’ll manage project scope and quality while coaching less experienced team members. Your success is measured by the growth of the people around you
- Innovate the Practice: We don’t want "the way it’s always been done." We want your "lessons learned" to become our new standard operating procedure
- Problem Solve: Identify the "why" behind the "what." You’ll perform deep-dive research into complex issues and present corrective measures that stick
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years in the Workday ecosystem (Implementing, Post-Production/AMS, or at a Client)
- A 'black belt' in Student Core, Security, and Reporting, plus at least one other specialty (Financials, Financial Aid, Admissions, Academic Advising, Student Records, etc.)
- Experience leading projects from initial scoping through go-live
- Ability to manage multiple parallel projects
- Ability to explain complex technical dependencies to a non-technical stakeholder
- Ability to influence a room toward a solution
- Excitement about the 'small team' vibe
Required Skills: Workday Student, Student Core, Project Management
Important Skills: Financials
