Position Overview
We're seeking a Recruiter & Talent Operations Coordinator to lead our hiring efforts across educational roles including teachers, therapists, administrators, and support staff. This role requires experience in education sector recruiting, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to identify candidates who align with our mission of student success.
Key Responsibilities
Source and recruit qualified educators, therapists, and administrative staff
Manage full-cycle recruiting process from initial outreach through offer negotiation
Build and maintain talent pipeline using applicant tracking systems
Conduct initial candidate screenings and coordinate interview processes
Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and team dynamics
Develop recruiting strategies for hard-to-fill positions
Maintain relationships with educational institutions and professional networks - Support onboarding process for new hires
Required Qualifications
2+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in education or healthcare
Understanding of educational roles, certifications, and licensing requirements
Experience with applicant tracking systems and recruiting tools - Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
Knowledge of employment law and hiring best practices
Self-motivated with ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
Background in education or experience recruiting for schools/districts
Familiarity with special education and therapy roles
Experience with diversity, equity, and inclusion in hiring
Knowledge of teacher certification and licensing processes
Existing network of education professionals
Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools
Success Metrics
Fill 3-5 open positions within first 90 days
Maintain average time-to-fill of 30 days or less
Achieve 90%+ hiring manager satisfaction scores

Base salary: $20–25/hr based on experience
