Job Description
Summary: Kleinfelder, a Forbes' Top Employer for Engineers in North America, is seeking interns for their Environmental team. The role involves assisting with field data collection, wetland mitigation monitoring, protected species surveys, and habitat assessments, while working alongside experienced staff.
Responsibilities:
- Assist primarily with field data collection, including wetland mitigation monitoring, protected species surveys, and habitat assessments, working alongside experienced staff
- Assist with the preparation of field reports, internal correspondence, and sections of formal reports and proposals
- Coordinate with, and interact with, senior technical staff
Required Qualifications:
- Students must be working towards a BS degree in Geology, Engineering or the Sciences
- Background in scientific course work
- Ability to provide technical support on projects
- Good writing skills
- Candidates will be required to satisfactorily complete employment reference checks
- Verification of professional licensure and/or educational credentials
- Motor vehicle report (MVR)
- Comprehensive background check
Preferred Qualifications:
- Candidates that have completed applicable internships
- AutoCAD experience
