Job Description
Summary: KLA is a global leader in diversified electronics for the semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem. They are seeking a Product Installation Engineer to install and qualify advanced KLA systems at customer sites globally, ensuring installations are completed on schedule and meet quality standards while providing technical support and documentation throughout the process.
Responsibilities:
- Install and qualify advanced KLA systems at customer sites globally, ensuring installations are completed on schedule and meet quality standards
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues during installation by identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions
- Perform setup, alignment, calibration, and verification of highly complex semiconductor capital equipment
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with KLA regions, engineering, and customer teams to verify system performance and transfer tool ownership
- Provide clear status updates to all stakeholders throughout the installation process
- Complete installation documentation and administrative requirements accurately and on time
- Secure warranty sign‑off on newly installed tools
Required Qualifications:
- Master's Level Degree and 0 years related work experience
- Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 2 years
Preferred Qualifications:
- Install and qualify advanced KLA systems at customer sites globally, ensuring installations are completed on schedule and meet quality standards
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues during installation by identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions
- Perform setup, alignment, calibration, and verification of highly complex semiconductor capital equipment
