Job Description
Summary: KLA is a global leader in diversified electronics for the semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem. The Applications Engineer in the BBP Division will deliver expert technical support, implement installation plans, and develop applications to solve customer problems, while maintaining strategic customer relationships and assisting sales teams.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver expert technical support that ensures optimal tool performance in customer fabs
- Implement detailed installation plans
- Develop and implement applications that solve customer problems using existing and pre-release products
- Work with engineering teams to resolve hardware/software issues, scope feature requests to improve current products, and collect requirements for future products
- Coordinate activities with customers and internal teams
- Maintain strategic customer relationships
- Deliver technical presentations and customer training
- Assist sales teams with technical assessments and product specifications
- Travel Required up to 20% to support high-volume manufacturing sites
Required Qualifications:
- Master's Level Degree and 0 years related work experience
- Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 2 years
Preferred Qualifications:
- Deliver expert technical support that ensures optimal tool performance in customer fabs
- Implement detailed installation plans
- Develop and implement applications that solve customer problems using existing and pre-release products
