Job Description
Summary: Kitchen Guard provides commercial kitchen exhaust cleaning services that help restaurants maintain fire safety and regulatory compliance. The B2B Sales Representative will generate a sales pipeline, schedule and conduct hood system inspections, prepare and present proposals, and close contracts with commercial restaurant customers.
Responsibilities:
- Book 8-12 hood system inspections per week by phone, email, and cold knocking
- Run the inspection: set your ladder, get on the roof, pull filters, photograph the ductwork and fan the owner can't see
- Build proposals in ServiceMinder and present them in person on an iPad — we don't email proposals, they die in inboxes
- Close 2-4 contracts per week. Typical cycle is about two weeks from first contact to signature
Required Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of B2B outside sales or high-volume prospecting
- Comfortable making a cold ask of a stranger, and resilient when the answer is no
- Organized and self-directed — you own your calendar
- Working fluency with a CRM, Excel, email, and an iPad
- You have to get a little dirty and get on roofs. You'll carry and set a ladder, climb onto commercial rooftops, and pull filters covered in grease
- Comfortable at height, able to lift 40+ pounds
- You have to build a target list on a computer. Not "drive around and see what looks open." We mean sitting down with a laptop, identifying every independent restaurant in a submarket, finding phone numbers and decision-makers, and turning that into a routed week
Preferred Qualifications:
- The strongest fit usually already walks into restaurant back-of-house cold every week: uniform and facility services, commercial pest control, food distribution, chemical and sanitation supply, or fire protection
Required Skills: B2B Outside Sales, High-Volume Prospecting, CRM, Microsoft Excel, iPad
Benefits: AD&D Policy / Long-Term Disability, Paid Vacation Time, Gas Stipend, Dental insurance, Vision insurance, Free uniforms, Training & development, 10% of contract value on accounts you source and close, uncapped. Company-generated inbound leads pay a reduced rate, Quarterly Signing Bonus: up to $4,000 per quarter for hitting contract volume, Gas allowance, Company phone/laptop/iPad/ladder, Life AD&D, Disability, Critical illness, FSA, LegalShield, Identity theft protection, Wages on Demand, Direct access to ownership — no layers between you and the person who decides, A documented playbook and video training across the full sales cycle, including pitching and handling objections, Transparent compensation — we'll show you exactly how the math works before you accept
