Job Description
Summary: Kimley-Horn is looking for Geology/Environmental Science students to join their Tampa, Florida office. The role involves solving complex problems and collaborating across disciplines to assist project managers and produce clients’ visions for the future built environment.
Responsibilities:
- Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to produce our clients’ visions for the future built environment
- Develop familiarity with the federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn’s and our client’s practices, procedures, and standards
- The opportunity to gain knowledge in one or more of the following: site assessment regulations, Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, surface water quality regulations, landfills, redevelopment program a plus
- Some travel may be required (approximately 10%)
Required Qualifications:
- In the process of receiving a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Geology, Biology, Environmental Science, or other related majors
