Position Summary
KiddeFenwal is seeking a hands-on IT Project Manager - Business Applications & Transformation to lead enterprise application and business transformation initiatives across our global organization.
This highly visible role partners closely with business leaders, IT teams, vendors, and implementation partners to deliver technology solutions that support growth, operational excellence, digital transformation, and business process improvement. The successful candidate will lead projects involving ERP systems, enterprise applications, SaaS platforms, data and reporting solutions, AI-enabled business capabilities, process automation, and systems integration initiatives.
The ideal candidate is equally comfortable building detailed project plans, facilitating business discussions, gathering requirements, managing vendors, and driving execution across multiple workstreams. This role combines project leadership, business analysis, stakeholder management, and technology delivery within a fast-paced global manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Delivery
- Lead end-to-end delivery of complex, cross-functional technology and business transformation initiatives.
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, resource requirements, milestones, and dependencies.
- Drive execution across multiple workstreams involving internal teams, vendors, and implementation partners.
- Manage project scope, risks, issues, assumptions, and change requests while proactively implementing mitigation strategies.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.
- Establish project governance, communication plans, and executive reporting processes.
- Provide regular project status updates, business impacts, and recommendations to leadership teams.
Business Partnership & Analysis
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand challenges, objectives, and opportunities for technology-enabled improvements.
- Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, interviews, and requirements gathering activities.
- Document and translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and solution recommendations.
- Conduct process mapping, gap analyses, and future-state design exercises.
- Support solution evaluation, testing, validation, and user acceptance activities.
- Define project success metrics and ensure delivered solutions meet business expectations.
Business Applications & Digital Transformation
Lead initiatives such as:
- ERP implementations, upgrades, and integrations.
- Enterprise application deployments and enhancements.
- SaaS and cloud solution implementations.
- Process automation and AI-enabled business solutions.
- Data, reporting, analytics, and business intelligence initiatives.
- Systems integration and workflow optimization projects.
- Digital transformation initiatives supporting business growth and operational efficiency.
Vendor & Change Management
- Manage third-party vendors, consultants, implementation partners, and service providers.
- Coordinate testing, training, cutover planning, deployment, and go-live activities.
- Support organizational change management and user adoption initiatives.
- Monitor vendor performance and ensure delivery against contractual commitments.
- Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams throughout project lifecycles.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
- 7+ years of project management experience delivering business and technology initiatives.
- Proven experience leading ERP, enterprise application, CRM, SaaS, or digital transformation projects.
- Demonstrated success managing projects from planning through deployment and adoption.
- Experience managing project budgets, schedules, resources, risks, and dependencies.
- Strong business analysis and requirements gathering experience.
- Experience managing vendors, consultants, and implementation partners.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across technical and non-technical teams.
- Strong communication, facilitation, problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid project delivery methodologies.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and changing business needs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting manufacturing, supply chain, operations, engineering, quality, finance, customer service, or commercial functions.
- Experience with ERP platforms such as JD Edwards, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, or similar enterprise systems.
- Experience leading systems integration, cloud, data, analytics, infrastructure modernization, or digital transformation initiatives.
- Experience working within private equity-backed, mid-market, or rapidly transforming organizations.
- PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, CBAP, or similar professional certification.
