Summary: KHAITE is a fashion company that focuses on womenswear and accessories, seeking a Product Development, RTW Intern for the Summer Semester. The intern will assist in coordinating sample launches, visiting local factories, and maintaining updates in the PLM system. Responsibilities: - Coordinate sample launches, which involves preparing cut tickets, corrected patterns, sew-guides, mock-ups to execute the sample package preparations - Visit local factories / vendors daily for sample transportation & check in on development - Launch mock-ups, pattern plot outs, fabric fusing, etc - Update digital design boards, WIPs - Maintain updates in PLM system - RLM (style entries, bom, cut tickets) - Organize sample racks for fittings as well as maintain working space Required Qualifications: - Exceptional attention to details and organizational skills - Strong problem-solving and a sense of urgency - Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines - Basic knowledge of garment construction, fit, and product development; with a particular interest in woven materials - Proficiency in PLM, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Excel Preferred Qualifications: - Currently enrolled for a Bachelor's Degree; preferably in Fashion Design, Apparel Production, Technical Design, or a related field - New York domestic development experience is a plus - Proficiency in RLM is a plus Required Skills: Garment construction, Product development, PLM proficiency Important Skills: Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Excel Internship Start Date: Start in 2026 Summer
