About the Role

HypeCore Media is looking for a confident, outgoing Punjabi-speaking presenter and public interviewer to create entertaining short-form videos for Fluently, a Punjabi language and culture app.

You'll be interviewing people in public, particularly around nightlife areas during evening and late-night hours, asking funny, relatable and culture-based questions that get people laughing, thinking and interacting on camera.

The aim is to create engaging Instagram Reels and TikTok videos that celebrate Punjabi language and culture while introducing more people to Fluently.

What You'll Be Doing

• Conducting fun public interviews outside clubs, nightlife venues and other busy public locations.
• Asking entertaining Punjabi language, slang, culture and general knowledge questions.
• Speaking naturally with strangers in both Punjabi and English.
• Creating funny, spontaneous interactions and capturing genuine reactions.
• Working with our team to develop new questions, challenges and video ideas.
• Representing Fluently in a friendly, confident and professional manner.
• Filming during evenings and late-night hours, including some weekends.

The Type of Content We'll Create

Think quick-fire questions and funny challenges such as:

• “Is it noon or loon?” — testing people's Punjabi vocabulary and pronunciation.
• Punjabi Christmas Dinner — asking people what dishes belong on a proper Punjabi Christmas dinner table.
• Punjabi Slang Test — can people explain popular Punjabi words and phrases?
• Finish the Punjabi Saying — testing how well people know common Punjabi expressions.
• Punjabi Culture Quiz — funny questions about food, family, weddings and traditions.
• Who's Got the Better Punjabi? — putting friends to the test and capturing their reactions.

You should be comfortable improvising, keeping conversations flowing and making interviews entertaining rather than simply reading questions from a script.

What We're Looking For

• Fluent spoken Punjabi and English — both are essential.
• A confident, outgoing personality and the ability to approach strangers comfortably.
• Strong communication skills and a natural sense of humour.
• The ability to think on your feet and engage people who may be shy or caught off guard.
• Availability for evening and late-night shoots, including weekends.
• An interest in Punjabi language, culture, comedy or social media content.

Previous presenting, interviewing, acting or content-creation experience is beneficial, but personality and communication skills matter most.
