Job Description
Summary: Keysoft is seeking an AI Quality Assurance Engineer Intern for a full-time, on-site position in Atlanta, GA. The intern will design, develop, and execute test plans for AI-powered applications, collaborating with engineering and product teams to ensure high-quality releases.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with testing the applications across key user flows, including signup, onboarding, profile creation, story capture, account setup, and other product experiences
- Execute manual test cases and document results clearly
- Identify bugs, usability issues, confusing flows, edge cases, and product inconsistencies
- Write clear defect reports with steps to reproduce, expected results, actual results, screenshots, and supporting notes
- Support regression testing when new features or updates are released
- Help maintain test cases, testing checklists, and QA documentation
- Support testing for AI-powered features, workflows, prompts, and user interactions
- Evaluate AI-generated outputs for accuracy, tone, consistency, relevance, and alignment with application user experience
- Help document AI behavior, edge cases, limitations, and areas where the experience needs improvement
- Test different user scenarios to understand how the system responds across a range of inputs
- Support responsible AI testing by helping identify unclear responses, unexpected behavior, privacy concerns, or potential trust and safety issues
- Assist in creating or maintaining simple automated test scripts for web application workflows, depending on skill level
- Explore tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Postman, Python, JavaScript, or similar testing technologies
- Help test API workflows or integrations under guidance
- Support lightweight automation efforts that make repeat testing faster and more consistent
- Assist with organizing test results and tracking quality issues using tools such as GitHub, Jira, Trello, Linear, or similar platforms
- Document testing processes, known issues, and product feedback in a clear and organized way
- Share weekly QA updates, including what was tested, what passed, what failed, and what needs attention
- Look for patterns in bugs, user friction, or repeated product issues
- Contribute ideas for improving the product experience, testing process, and AI-powered workflows
Required Qualifications:
- Strong Software Testing skills, including experience validating complex applications, services, or AI-driven features
- Hands-on Test Execution experience, with the ability to systematically run tests, capture results, and identify edge cases
- Practical Quality Assurance exposure, including defect tracking, root-cause discussion, and collaboration with engineering teams
- Experience creating and maintaining Test Cases that are clear, repeatable, and aligned with functional and non-functional requirements
- Manual Testing proficiency, including exploratory testing and scenario-based validation of user-facing workflows
- Experience with test management and issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, or similar) and basic understanding of CI/CD practices
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with AI or ML systems (LLMs, agentic workflows, or model-driven applications) is highly preferred
