Senior Consultant - Data & Solution Architect at Keyrus · Montreal

⭐ Why Keyrus, Why Now!

Keyrus is an international group of 2,800 consultants and experts across 28 countries, built on a single conviction: AI does not transform businesses. Architected intelligence does. For more than 30 years, we have been building the data foundations that make intelligent systems work — designing the Operating System of the intelligent enterprise, where intelligence is embedded into the core of business processes to create sustainable value: we operationalise intelligence.

AI does not replace humans. It repositions us to a place no system can follow: understanding, deciding, designing, and creating. At Keyrus, you will not just develop skills—you will develop judgment. Your expertise sharpens with every architecture you design, every platform you modernize, and every client challenge you solve.

Over time, you grow into one of the rarest professionals of the intelligence era: someone who bridges data, cloud, AI, and business decision-making at scale. This is not a role you fill. It is a discipline you master and a story you help write to become a Keyrus Architect of Intelligence.

Technology amplifies. Keyrus culture differentiates. Industrial discipline connects the two.

WHAT YOU'LL ARCHITECT:

As a Senior Consultant - Data & Solution Architect, you will architect modern data ecosystems that enable organizations to transform raw information into scalable intelligence. Combining deep engineering expertise with broader Azure cloud and solution architecture capabilities, you will define target-state architectures, guide delivery teams, and help clients build cloud-native data platforms designed for long-term business impact.

• Collaborate with client stakeholders to translate business objectives into scalable target-state data architectures and strategic roadmaps.
• Architect end-to-end data platforms, lakehouses, and pipelines using Microsoft Fabric or complementary cloud technologies such as Databricks, Snowflake, and Azure Data Services.
• Design and govern medallion lakehouse architectures (Bronze, Silver, Gold) that prioritize scalability, governance, performance, and data quality.
• Architect parameterized ingestion frameworks supporting batch and near real-time integrations across databases, APIs, files, streaming platforms, and hybrid environments.
• Design broader Azure integration architectures connecting data platforms, enterprise applications, APIs, and cloud services using Azure Integration Services such as Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus, and API Management.
• Define scalable and secure integration patterns across the Azure ecosystem, including API-based, messaging, and event-driven architectures.
• Optimize pipeline and query performance through Spark tuning, partitioning strategies, shortcuts, and incremental loading techniques.
• Design and optimize semantic models, including star schemas, DirectLake and Import strategies, DAX optimization, relationships, and aggregations.
• Define and implement CI/CD strategies that enable reliable, automated, and scalable deployments across multiple environments.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Data Engineers, Analysts, and multidisciplinary delivery teams while ensuring architectural alignment.
• Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative approaches that strengthen client data and cloud ecosystems and business capabilities.

WHO YOU ARE:

• You see data architecture as the foundation that enables intelligent organizations rather than simply supporting analytics.
• You naturally connect business strategy with scalable cloud and data engineering solutions.
• You are comfortable leading executive conversations while maintaining deep technical credibility with engineering teams.
• You thrive in consulting environments where every client challenge requires structured thinking and pragmatic innovation.
• You continuously explore new technologies and translate emerging capabilities into practical business value.

• Experience designing solutions using Azure Integration Services, including Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus, and/or API Management.
• Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns across APIs, messaging, event-driven architectures, and cloud services.
• Expertise optimizing Spark workloads, partitioning strategies, incremental loading, and scalable data pipelines.
• Experience designing semantic models using star schema principles, DirectLake, Import strategies, DAX optimization, and aggregations.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation for enterprise data and cloud platforms.
