Job Description
Summary: Kestra Medical Technologies is a company focused on innovative cardiac medical devices. They are seeking a Videographer & Motion Design Intern to support the Marketing Communications team in creating video and motion graphic content for various marketing channels, gaining hands-on experience in a regulated medical device environment.
Responsibilities:
- Complete a culminating video or motion design project
- Assist with video production activities including filming, lighting setup, and audio capture
- Support creation of motion graphics and animations and develop storyboards and animation concepts
- Edit video content for short-form videos, presentations, and digital assets
- Present internship project results and findings to the Marketing team and Kestra executive leadership at the conclusion of the internship
Required Qualifications:
- 2nd year or higher undergraduate in a fine arts/arts/science in design or related field
- One to three years of motion design work experience
- Attention to detail with a strong working knowledge of design-related applications, techniques, and styles
- Ability to articulate creative ideas in verbal and written communication
- Focused creative thinking, while multi-tasking on several projects and overlapping deadlines
- Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within the past 6 months
- Must not have completed one year of continual employment with Kestra Medical Technologies
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must possess unrestricted work authorization
- Must complete a criminal and employment background screening that meets the allowable FDA requirements and is in accordance with EEOC rules and regulations
- Must complete a pre-internship drug screen
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced knowledge of Premiere, After Effects, Media Encoder, Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Creative Cloud
- Advanced knowledge of video shooting, editing, color correction, and compositing
- Advanced knowledge of videography equipment
- Working knowledge of 2D and 3D animation
