Job Description
Summary: Kestra Medical Technologies is a company focused on integrating modern wearable technologies with proven medical device therapies. The Electrical Engineering Intern will work on researching, implementing, and characterizing wireless charging technologies for wearable medical devices, gaining hands-on experience in the medical device industry.
Responsibilities:
- The primary focus will be on researching, implementing, and characterizing wireless charging technologies for a wearable medical device
Required Qualifications:
- Be currently enrolled at an accredited university pursuing an undergraduate degree with a focus in Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Must have completed some classes in analog circuits
- Must have a basic understanding of electrical test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.)
- Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within the past 6 months
- Must not have completed one year of continual employment with Kestra Medical Technologies
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must possess unrestricted work authorization
- Must complete a criminal and employment background screening that meets the allowable FDA requirements and is in accordance with EEOC rules and regulations
- Must complete a pre-internship drug screen
