Job Description
Summary: Kennedy Krieger Institute is a leading research organization focused on improving the lives of children with disorders of the brain, spinal cord, and musculoskeletal system. They are seeking a Research Assistant I in the Kirby Center Lab to assist with MRI data processing and support various imaging projects through coding and research techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the MRI data processing including writing Matlab scripts for post-processing the MRI data
- Perform research techniques, protocols, and research methods under direction of the Principal Investigator (PI)
- Develop graphs, reports, and presentations of project results
- Oversee undergraduates in data analysis theory and implementation
- Perform statistical analyses for projects and reports to level of expertise
- Help prepare publications, grants, presentations, and posters based on McMahon Lab research
- Present at conferences as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in science-related field required (e.g., biology, chemistry, neuroscience, biomedical engineering, mathematics, computer science, or physics)
