Job Description
Position Summary: Monitor the quality of components and product throughout the production cycle as well as the quality of finished goods.
Essential Functions:
Audit the production lines at established intervals following standard work Assist production in troubleshooting issues on the line and make recommendations for corrective action Organize and coordinate any SFO needed for Pre/Post production Validate and prepare daily quality start-up checklist Close all shop orders as necessary Calibration of measuring and test equipment for the lab and production areas Maintain finished product retains Periodically audit quality paperwork and functionality logs Communicate issues and other information to the next shift daily Good attendance (less than 2 absences) and good safety record Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Physical Demands:
Must be able to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time The worker constantly operates a computer and other office machinery such as calculator, copy machine, and computer printer Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and to make the discrimination in sound The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity with or without assistance such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading, visual inspection, using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication parts at distances close to the eyes Able to lift 55 pounds occasionally, 25 - 50lbs. consistently
