Senior Accountant Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India Title: Senior Accountant Support financial planning, reporting, and analysis with strong focus on execution, accuracy, and timeliness. Key Responsibilities Prepare monthly financial reports (actuals vs budget vs forecast) Perform variance analysis and highlight key drivers Support annual budget and periodic forecast cycles Maintain and update financial models and templates Track KPIs and operational metrics Ensure data accuracy and reconciliation across systems (e.g., ERP, dashboards) Support business teams with basic financial insights Assist in cost tracking and chargeability analysis Skills & Expectations Strong Excel / basic BI tools (Power BI, etc.) Good understanding of financial statements Attention to detail and adherence to timelines Ability to follow defined processes Educational Qualification Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field Professional qualification such as CA Inter, CMA Inter, , or MBA (Finance) is preferred Experience 7–12 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Accounting, or Finance Operations Experience working with ERP systems and financial reporting tools Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting Experience supporting business stakeholders with financial analysis and insights is preferred
