Job Description
Summary: Kaufman Dolowich LLP is seeking an Insurance Coverage Litigation Associate to join their Woodbury, Long Island team. The role involves litigating insurance coverage cases, drafting legal opinions, and communicating directly with clients to provide updates and guidance throughout the case lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Litigate insurance coverage cases as part of team, including conducting court appearances, depositions, and motion practice
- Draft legal opinions, reservations of rights and disclaimers
- Communicate directly with clients, providing proactive timely updates, legal insights, and strategic guidance throughout the case lifecycle
Required Qualifications:
- 1+ years of litigation and/or insurance coverage experience
- JD degree with excellent academic credentials
- Admission to the New York State Bar
- Superior legal research, writing, and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time management skills
