Job Description
Summary: JPMorganChase is a leading financial institution providing innovative financial solutions. The Structuring Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting transaction management and overseeing projects within the Alternative Investments Group, focusing on underwriting and evaluating fund terms and structures.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for mid-stream transaction execution from late due diligence to fund launch
- Develop marketing materials including flipbook presentations, executive summaries that present a clear, concise message that highlights key marketing points and investment considerations
- Utilize appropriate firm and industry resources to complete analysis of investment strategy, competitor funds, etc. as required
- Work with Global Structuring Team and internal/external legal counsel to analyze and comment on offering materials including the private placement memorandum, subscription documents and partnership agreements
- Responsible for sign-off on subscription documents and working with Legal to train marketing force regarding execution of documents
- Review, identify and communicate to operations group any non-standard structural issues prior to launch of investment
- Educate and advise Alternative Specialists Team on each transaction to ensure that they are equipped to support regional teams and assist them in answering questions regarding investment opportunity
- Coordinate production of offering documents
- Liaise with Compliance and Risk Management to document marketing guidelines for all regions
- Monitor and report on fundraising process to senior management
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent relationship management and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve problems and to manage multiple tasks at once
- Flexible team player with ability to work independently
- Strong interest in alternative investments preferred
- Verbal presentation skills
