Job Description
Summary: Johnson & Johnson is a leader in healthcare innovation, striving to build a world where complex diseases are effectively managed. They are seeking a Supply Chain & Engineering Summer Intern to assist in various projects and quality activities within a medical device manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in process, project, and / or quality activities across the manufacturing network
- Become involved in the day-to-day functions of a medical device manufacturing facility
- Develop a range of business documents including but not limited to validation protocols, engineering studies, and work instructions
- Support senior engineers on various Business Continuity and / or Cost Improvement projects
- Create and analyze data related to manufacturing processes to recommend improvements or changes
Required Qualifications:
- Completion of Undergraduate Freshman year at an accredited University is required
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering, Science or related STEM fields
- Have a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher, which is reflective of all college coursework
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is required
- Understanding of common engineering analysis tools (such as statistical process control) and reporting mechanisms
- Within a commutable distance (50 miles or less) 5 days / week to the facility located in Raynham, MA
- Must be a self-starter who can work independently while contributing to team goals
- Strong verbal and communication skills
- Permanently authorized to work in the U.S., must not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven leadership/participation with campus programs and/or community service activities is desired
