They are seeking a FIRST Robotics Engineering Intern to provide hands-on experience in engineering and support functions such as Supply Chain or Research & Development during an 8-week internship program. Responsibilities: - Work on projects that improve leadership, analytical, and project management skills - Participate in cross-functional teamwork with various sectors including Innovative Medicine and MedTech - Engage in a designed educational experience to ensure support and success during the internship Required Qualifications: - Permanent work authorization in the U.S. without the need of sponsorship now or in the future is required - Ability to work full-time 40 hours/week for the duration of the 8-week internship program is required - As of the start date, candidate's completion and successful graduation from high school is required - Enrollment in an accredited College/University Bachelor's degree program, with intention to pursue an Engineering, Science or related STEM course of study, as of the start date of the internship is required - Minimum 3.0 GPA is required - Commutable distance (50 miles or less) from one of the locations listed is required - Ability to demonstrate strong analytical and quantitative skills is required - Ability to balance multiple projects and initiatives while driving results with the ability to work independently as a self-started contributing to team goals is required - If you are under 18 years of age you (the student) will need to obtain the necessary working papers in order to start the assignment, as well as get a parent's consent for the background check Preferred Qualifications: - Participation in the FIRST Robotics Program during high school is strongly preferred - Excellent communication, presentation skills and leadership skills are desired - Ability to demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, intellectual curiosity, and a dedicated approach to achieving success is desired - Intention to pursue a degree in engineering or similar is preferred - Proven leadership/participation with campus programs and/or community service activities is desired Required Skills: FIRST Robotics participation, Analytical skills, Quantitative skills Important Skills: Engineering degree intention Nice-to-Have Skills: Intellectual curiosity, Leadership skills Benefits: Co-Ops/Interns are eligible to participate in Company sponsored employee medical benefits in accordance with the terms of the plan., Co-Ops and Interns are eligible for the following sick time benefits: up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington, up to 56 hours per calendar year., Co-Ops and Interns are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension).
