Job Description:
DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a(n) APAC Commercial Capabilities Lead,locatedin Singapore or North Ryde, Australia.
Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes and your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to you by DePuy Synthes at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes.
The APAC Commercial Capabilities Lead directs Managers and/or senior individual contributors in a matrixenvironment andis accountable for meaningful career development conversations and regular coaching and feedback. Contributes to businessobjectivesthroughout the sales lifecycle, from creating,maintainingand growingCommercial Excellence,Pricing & Contracting strategy,andcoordinating the implementation ofend-to-endCommEx,Pricingand Contractingoperational excellencedesigned to meetsales objectives.
The APAC Commercial Capabilities Lead delivers business growth opportunities by improvingCommEx,Pricing & Contracting/Tenderingprocesses andstrategic opportunities, implementingcontinuous improvement & automationprograms, generating performance metrics, anddisseminatinginformation that promotes a favorable view of the organization and its products and services. Maintains an extensive knowledge ofDPS portfolio,process troubleshooting andbenchmark industrybest practicesin order toassess customer needs and recommendappropriatestrategiesand solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Directs Managers and/or senior individual contributors in a matrixenvironment, andis accountable for meaningful career development conversations and regular coaching and feedback.
Key partner to APAC Leadership Teamproviding strategicdecision makingsupport, coachingCommercial Capabilityorganization in bringingexpertiseto local GM and commercial leaders.
DeliversCommEx,Pricing& Contracting/Tenderingvision and strategy for thecommercial organizationbyretainingand applying an in-depth understanding of customer needs andleveragingthose insights to create an unparalleled sales experience.
ResponsibleforestablishingAPAC pricing strategyincluding floor price frameworks and compliance governance implemented via local operational execution excellence
Participates in the design of strategic sales plans derived from corporate goals and customer touchpoints thatleverageconsumer data and customer insight tooptimizeCommEx,Pricing & Contracting/Tenderingenablement and ensure the achievement ofsales objectives.
Designs key performance indicators to measure the performance ofCommex,Pricing & Contracting/Tenderingdepartments and benchmark theorganization’s capabilitieswith competitors and industry leading standards.
Developsrelationships with leaders and stakeholders to understand consumer priorities,identifycapability gaps, conduct on-going needs assessments, and translate needs into targeted solutions.
Responsible for managing operational aspects of their teams (e.g., budget, performance, and compliance), as well as implementing workforce and succession plans to meet business needs.
Proactively creates apurpose drivenenvironment by aligning Credo and Leadership Imperatives with the strategies and goals of the team and enterprise.
