Summary: Joby Aviation is a company working towards the certification of their electric air taxi aircraft. They are seeking a motivated electrical engineering intern to contribute to the design and development of their manufacturing test station for electrical components. Responsibilities: - Board design - System integration and test - Validation test setup and operation - Board-level rework and soldering - Functional testing - Creating a test setup Required Qualifications: - Pursuing B.S./M.S. in electrical engineering, computer engineering or computer science - Heading into junior or senior year of undergraduate degree or above - Available Summer 2026 - Excellent problem solving, communication, and teamwork skills while working with cross functional teams - Willingness to learn, be mentored, and improve - Passionate about engineering Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with electronics CAD (Altium preferred but other systems acceptable) - Ability to develop in Python scripts - Experience making or testing or other hands on experience with actual hardware or software; especially personal project not related to work or school Required Skills: Electrical engineering, Electronics CAD, Python Nice-to-Have Skills: Willingness to learn, Passionate about engineering
