Job Description
Accountabilities:
- Review, create, and manage purchase requisitions while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to internal financial controls.
- Act as a key liaison between Service Delivery and Finance teams to validate cost classifications, business justifications, and timing of expenses.
- Support financial governance by ensuring purchase requisitions align with IFRS principles and organizational procurement standards.
- Collaborate with international stakeholders to resolve procurement and finance-related queries efficiently and professionally.
- Monitor multiple requisitions simultaneously, ensuring timely processing and prioritization of operational needs.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing procurement workflows, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.
- Assist with identifying discrepancies, escalating issues when necessary, and maintaining strong documentation practices.
Requirements:
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with confidence interacting with international and UK-based stakeholders.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes consistently and accurately.
- Understanding or willingness to learn accounting concepts such as accruals, prepayments, cost categorization, and IFRS principles.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively in a dynamic operational environment.
- Confidence in identifying issues, raising queries, and escalating concerns appropriately.
- Experience working in procurement, finance operations, shared services, or purchase requisition processes is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with ERP systems or purchasing platforms is considered an advantage.
- Comfortable working in shift-based schedules, including early and late shifts where required.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
