Job Description
Accountabilities:
- Lead discovery sessions with clients to gather requirements for financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analytics solutions.
- Design, build, test, and deploy reporting dashboards, financial models, and budgeting templates tailored to client business needs.
- Support the implementation and configuration of CPM platforms and related reporting tools.
- Deliver end-user training and provide guidance on system functionality, reporting capabilities, and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery and adoption.
- Develop project estimates, implementation plans, and documentation to support solution delivery and long-term scalability.
- Advise clients on CPM tool selection, financial planning strategies, and process optimization opportunities.
- Apply accounting and finance expertise to improve operational reporting, forecasting accuracy, and business decision-making.
- Contribute both independently and collaboratively within consulting teams to drive high-quality client outcomes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in reporting, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, or CPM consulting.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with strong analytical and modeling capabilities.
- Experience with Microsoft Power BI and business intelligence reporting tools.
- Understanding of financial reporting frameworks such as GAAP, IFRS, operational reporting, and management reporting.
- Familiarity with budgeting methodologies including zero-based budgeting, driver-based budgeting, and forecasting techniques.
- Knowledge of CPM platforms such as Solver, Prophix, Vena, Anaplan, Cognos, Hyperion, Jet, Cosmos, or Planful is highly desirable.
- Exposure to Microsoft Azure technologies, SQL, SSIS, Azure Data Lake, Synapse Analytics, or machine learning services is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, documentation, and customer-facing consulting skills.
- Experience working within Agile environments and managing multiple client engagements simultaneously is preferred.
