This is a key role driving JLL’s operational strategy and leadership across account, divisional, and regional levels for Data Centers, Critical Environment Management (CEM), IT Services, Proximity Services, and White Space Management in APAC.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic direction and leadership for data center operations to strengthen JLL’s market position in IT services, while advancing the full suite of DC Operation, including proximity services and white space optimization.
Drive growth, ensure 100% uptime, manage risk, and champion innovation in sustainability and technology across critical environments, with a focus on integrated IT infrastructure, proximity support models, and flexible white space utilization.
Cultivate trusted relationships with key client stakeholders and position JLL as the partner of choice by showcasing our end-to-end DC expertise, including Operations, Solutions Development, Consulting, Transaction & Lease Advisory, Project Management, IT Managed Services, Proximity Services, and White Space Strategy—to convert sales opportunities into successful DC Operation accounts.
Implement standardized business operating mechanisms—including regular team huddles, strategic review forums, training sessions, and performance reporting—to foster team alignment, engagement, and operational efficiency in Data Center FM and related technical services.
Lead operational excellence within critical account hubs, with accountability for financial performance, service delivery, and compliance.
Own account deployments that directly impact financial outcomes and operational execution, particularly in complex or high-risk transitions involving IT infrastructure, proximity services support, or white space management.
Deliver DC/CE solutions and lead new business transitions, including large-scale transformation programs in mission-critical environments requiring seamless integration of FM, IT, and proximity services.
Continuously monitor market trends to ensure JLL’s DC FM operations reflect industry best practices in IT resilience, proximity service delivery, and dynamic white space management.
Maintain full ownership of all managed DC/CE space—including IT zones, proximity support areas, and unallocated (white space) capacity—within the designated region.
Serve as the recognized subject matter expert (SME) and single point of contact for all aspects of DC/CE operational management, including IT infrastructure support, proximity service coordination, and white space planning.
Advise clients and account leadership on data center operations, expansion strategies, design considerations, and optimization of IT and white space footprints.
Ensure clear, consistent communication with internal teams, external clients, technical staff, and senior management.
This role may require up to 40% travel across the region.
Compliance, Safety & Innovation:
Uphold health, safety, and environmental standards by developing and enforcing robust guidelines, including disaster recovery, business continuity, and escalation protocols.
Ensure compliance with statutory regulations for DC white space operation.
Adhere to JLL policies, audit requirements, and TSSO community initiatives; maintain strict alignment with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for critical environment management.
Champion innovation and emerging technologies to optimize DC operations—particularly in IT systems reliability, Proximity services / Remote smart hands support, and intelligent white space utilization.
Conduct regular audits to verify that safety, operational, and business continuity procedures are current, effective, and rigorously maintained.
Demonstrate unwavering commitment to JLL’s code of business conduct, ethics, and operational integrity.
Requirement:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, or similar experience, or a related field.
Minimum 7 years proven experience in data center operations, preferably in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge in data center networks, passive infrastructure
Strong knowledge in network and IT hardware infrastructure
Familiarity with local regulations, market dynamics,
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team effectively.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of operational excellence.
