QASHE IMS Lead at JLand Group in Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia

Role Summary

The candidate is responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of the organization’s Integrated Management System in compliance with ISO standards. The role ensures IMS documentation is current, conducts internal audits, and promotes a culture of quality and safety within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

1. System Management

Develop, implement, and maintain the IMS in accordance with ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environmental), and ISO 45001 (Health & Safety) standards. Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible to all relevant personnel, and coordinate with various departments to integrate their processes into the IMS.

2. Audits & Compliance

Conduct internal and external audits ensuring compliance with ISO standards and regulatory requirements. Coordinate and lead Management Review Meetings (MRMs) and track key performance metrics.

3. Corrective Actions & Improvement

Address non-conformances and implement corrective actions. Monitor and analyze IMS performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and report regularly to senior management. 

4. Change & Document Control

Oversee change management and document control processes to maintain IMS integrity. Collaborate with risk and sustainability teams to identify risks and implement mitigation plans.

5. Training & Culture

Develop and deliver IMS training and awareness programs for staff at all levels.

6. Cross-functional Collaboration

Work cross-functionally to ensure relevant process improvements are identified, documented, and implemented, serving as a key IMS resource for site operations. 

7. Execute additional responsibilities assigned periodically by the management.

8. Support departmental activities and perform related duties as assigned from time to time.

Qualifications

1. Professional certification in ISO standards (e.g., Lead Auditor for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or ISO 45001) is highly desirable. Candidates should have proven experience managing ISO certifications and audit processes, in-depth knowledge of integrated management systems, and proficiency in data analytics for performance tracking.

2. Strong PC-based skills, knowledge of relevant HSE legislation, competence in preparing high-standard documentation, and excellent written and verbal communication skills are also typically required.
