Data Science and AI Intern

Summary: JK Moving Services is seeking a Data Science & AI Intern to work directly with the Director of Operations and the data analytics team. The intern will implement machine learning solutions and data automation processes to enhance operational efficiency and gain hands-on experience in applying AI technologies to logistics challenges. Responsibilities: - Analyze operational datasets to identify patterns, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement - Develop and implement machine learning models to enhance predictive capabilities - Create automated data processing workflows using Python and other relevant technologies - Collaborate with the data analytics team on special projects and initiatives - Present findings and recommendations to leadership team - Document processes, methodologies, and results for knowledge transfer - Assist in the evaluation and implementation of new AI tools and technologies Required Qualifications: - Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or related field - Intermediate proficiency in Python programming - Experience with data analysis and visualization libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, etc.) - Understanding of machine learning concepts and frameworks (TensorFlow, Neural Network or PyTorch) - Basic knowledge of database querying (SQL) - Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team Required Skills: Python, Data analysis, Data visualization, Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, Machine learning, TensorFlow, Neural Networks, PyTorch, SQL, Analytical thinking, Independence
