Full Stack Java Developer

Compensation: $110,000 - $130,000

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Java Developer to join a growing organization and play a key role in the continued evolution of its digital platforms.

This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys working across the full technology stack, solving complex problems, modernizing existing applications, and contributing to the development of scalable, high-performing solutions.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain applications across both the front-end and back-end
• Modernize and enhance existing applications and legacy codebases
• Build and support RESTful APIs and integrations
• Develop scalable, high-performance web applications with a strong focus on usability and reliability
• Work with relational databases to design, optimize, and maintain data structures and queries
• Support and maintain application and server environments
• Implement security best practices related to authentication, authorization, and data protection
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate requirements into effective solutions
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to development standards and best practices
• Troubleshoot technical issues and identify opportunities for ongoing platform improvements

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong experience with Java and Java EE
• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs
• Solid front-end development skills with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, SQL, or DB2
• Experience supporting or administering Linux-based environments
• Familiarity with software design patterns and modern engineering best practices
• Experience with enterprise application platforms such as IBM WebSphere is preferred
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a broader team
