SUMMARY
Responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations with a focus on processing and managing returned merchandise. This role ensures accurate tracking, documentation, and disposition of returned goods while maintaining efficient workflow within the distribution center.
The position also provides administrative and operational support, including invoice tracking, inventory coordination, equipment tracking, and reporting. This position works closely with warehouse team members, supervisors, and cross-functional departments to ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and quality expectations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process Return to Vendor (RTV) merchandise, ensuring accurate documentation, disposition, and system updates.
- Track and submit warehouse invoices and maintain related records.
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory using RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Coordinate the return, repair, and tracking of warehouse equipment, including scanners.
- Order and maintain warehouse supplies and materials as needed.
- May assist in reviewing payroll hours and attendance records for accuracy; report attendance metrics as required.
- May assist with onboarding processes, including new hire setup and tracking 30/60/90-day reviews.
- Generate and communicate operational and productivity reports.
- Enter and track service tickets for equipment or facility repairs.
- Handle incoming and outgoing warehouse mail and documentation.
- Maintain organized, clean, and safe work and common areas in compliance with safety standards.
- Follow all safety policies and report hazards, incidents, or concerns to management.
- May assist in training team members on processes, SOPs, and system usage as needed.
- Support inventory control processes, including cycle counts and discrepancy resolution.
- Collaborate with Quality and Operations teams to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
- Analyze routine issues and escalate or resolve them according to established guidelines.
- Protect company assets by maintaining accurate records and following internal control procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support warehouse operations.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
No supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- 1–3 years of warehouse, distribution, or administrative experience.
- Experience with Return to Vendor (RTV) processes preferred.
- Familiarity with RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong Excel skills required.
- Experience with Workday or similar systems is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. The ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
