Warehouse Operations Internship (Mandarin Speaking) (JD Young Program)

Summary: JD.com is a leading supply chain-based technology and service provider, and they are seeking a Warehouse Operations Intern to support daily warehouse operations. This role involves assisting with inbound and outbound operations, monitoring workflow, promoting safety, and participating in process improvement projects. Responsibilities: - Assist with daily inbound, outbound, picking, packing, and shipping operations - Monitor workflow and help balance labor across work areas - Track productivity, accuracy, and SLA performance - Escalate operational issues (labor gaps, system issues, delays) to Team Leaders or Managers - Promote a safe work environment and ensure SOPs are followed - Report safety concerns, near misses, and incidents promptly - Support warehouse audits and compliance checks - Identify process inefficiencies and suggest improvements - Assist with basic data tracking (volume, productivity, error rates) - Participate in process improvement projects and pilot initiatives - Help communicate daily goals, priorities, and process changes to associates - Assist with onboarding and training of new warehouse associates - Act as a point of contact for associates when Team Leaders are unavailable - Support Team Leaders in coaching associates on standard work and safety practices Required Qualifications: - Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Business, or related field - Strong analytical skills and proficient in Excel - Clear logical thinking - Strong sense of responsibility - Excellent communication and teamwork skills - Strong interest in supply chain and e-commerce industries - Willingness to grow in a fast-paced and challenging environment Preferred Qualifications: - Native Chinese speakers preferred - Graduating in 2025 and 2026 Required Skills: Supply Chain Management, Logistics Operations, Data Analysis Important Skills: Excel Nice-to-Have Skills: Curiosity Benefits: Hands-on exposure to end-to-end supply chain operations;, Practical experience in real business scenarios with rapid skill development in operations and data analysis;, Guidance and mentorship from experienced professionals;, Opportunity for full-time conversion or long-term employment based on performance.
