Summary: JBT Marel is seeking an Electrical Intern to support a variety of duties within the Electrical team. This entry-level position involves assisting with installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems in an industrial setting under the supervision of experienced electricians. Responsibilities: - Assist with installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems in an industrial setting - Work under the supervision of experienced electricians to complete assigned tasks safely and efficiently - Support electrical system inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance activities - Read and interpret basic electrical drawings and documentation - Use and maintain electrical tools and equipment properly - Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) - Maintain a clean and organized work area - Other duties assigned based on business needs Required Qualifications: - Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment - Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced team members - Basic understanding of electrical concepts or interest in developing technical skills - Ability to manage time and complete tasks efficiently - Detail-oriented and safety-focused - Ability to handle confidential information - Assist with installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems in an industrial setting - Work under the supervision of experienced electricians to complete assigned tasks safely and efficiently - Support electrical system inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance activities - Read and interpret basic electrical drawings and documentation - Use and maintain electrical tools and equipment properly - Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) - Maintain a clean and organized work area - Other duties assigned based on business needs Preferred Qualifications: - Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or coursework in Electrical Technology or a related field - Basic knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and safety practices - Ability to learn and apply electrical codes and standards with guidance Required Skills: Electrical systems, Electrical tools, Electrical drawings, Electrical codes and standards, Electrical system maintenance, Electrical system troubleshooting, Personal protective equipment (PPE)
