Hands on experience in procuring building material such as Steel, Cement, bricks, Aggregates, sand etc
Hands on experience in procuring consumables such as Nut and bolts, Nails, Ply wood, Wood
Required Skills & Competencies
- HEMM Expertise: Deep knowledge of heavy hydraulics, powertrains, and ground engaging tools (GET).
- Software Fluency: Mastery of heavy-asset ERPs like SAP, IBM Maximo, or Oracle.
- Global Logistics: Solid understanding of international freight, customs clearance, and incoterms.
- Negotiation: Proven ability to manage high-value contracts with global OEM dealers.
- Hands on experience in Construction material such as Cement, Sand, Aggregates, Steel, Wood etc.
Job Qualifications
- Education: Diploma in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum of 10-15 years in heavy equipment parts purchasing or : Proven ability to manage high-value contracts with global OEM dealers.
- Licensure: Relevant procurement certifications (e.g., CIPS, CSCP) are highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Sourcing & Parts Verification
- Analyze manuals: Interpret OEM parts books, schematic drawings, and technical bulletins to confirm part numbers.
- Evaluate variants: Assess options across OEM, OES, and aftermarket parts to ensure absolute fit and function.
- Standardize items: Group parts requests across projects to establish unified

2. Procurement & Vendor Management
- Execute RFQs: Issue detailed technical RFQs to local and international parts dealers.
- Negotiate terms: Secure volume discounts, extended warranties, and favorable payment terms with suppliers.
- Audit suppliers: Evaluate vendor performance quarterly based on lead-time accuracy, part quality, and cost.
3. Fleet Support & Inventory Control
- Expedite breakdowns: Prioritize and fast-track emergency orders for machine- down (VOR) situations.
- Manage inventory: Set data-driven safety stock levels and reorder points for high-wear items.
- Track warranties: File and recover warranty claims for premature component failures with OEMs.
