A Careers in Motion student will work with a dynamic team of business professionals within a Transportation and Logistics business unit. We are seeking a Business Improvement Analyst Student to work with at the Transportation and Logistics Division in Saint John, New Brunswick. The successful candidate thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment while maintaining an elevated level of professionalism, accuracy, and detail.
Responsibilities
- Provide support to the diverse companies throughout the Transportation and Logistics Division.
- Lead business improvement initiatives including process / operational improvements, digital transformations, or revenue generating projects.
- Create, manage, and communicate project documentation to achieve objectives, including chartering, action plans / check ins and KPI tracking.
- Conduct and utilize internal and external benchmarking to enhance internal processes for the business improvement team and our businesses.
- Explore and analyze data to identify root cause issues and potential improvements to business processes.
Qualifications
- Must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree program (preferably Engineering) and be in positive academic standing.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Must have a valid driver's license and ability travel to offsite locations.
- Experience working with Power BI. Alteryx, Microsoft Apps, Microsoft Automate, would be considered an asset.
- Attention to detail, ownership, and willingness to seek and take on challenges.
