Summary: J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc. is seeking an Engineering & Technology Intern for Summer 2026. This position is designed to give students the opportunity to extend their classroom learning and receive industry experience through participation in engineering and technology tasks as part of an assigned team. Responsibilities: - Expand knowledge of the transportation industry and related systems - Perform limited analysis and design tasks - Troubleshoot and address bugs and problems with assistance from senior team members - Develop an understanding of processes associated with the organizational software development lifecycle through participation and specialized training Required Qualifications: - Must be currently enrolled in a technology related degree program such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology at an accredited academic institution - Have and maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.75, with a 3.0 in the major field of study - Be able to work up to 40 hours a week during the summer Preferred Qualifications: - Preference will be given to applicants who have just completed a course of study in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or applicable degree field at an accredited university or junior college - Sophomore and Junior candidates preferred Required Skills: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology Important Skills: Software Development Lifecycle Internship Start Date: Start in 2026 Summer Benefits: Medical benefit, Dental benefit, Vision benefit, 401(k) retirement plan, Life insurance, Short-term and long-term disability coverage, Paid time off commensurate with tenure (includes vacation and sick time), Six weeks of paid maternity leave along with two weeks of paid parental leave, Six paid holidays annually
