Summary: IXL Learning is a leading EdTech company that develops personalized learning products used by millions globally. They are seeking an Associate QA Analyst to focus on UI and front end testing, working closely with product managers and engineers to develop and execute test strategies for new features. Responsibilities: - Ensure quality on our front-end web applications with a strong focus on UI testing - Review business requirements and develop test plans, test cases, test estimations, and test execution reports - Perform functionality, regression, integration, UI, smoke, exploratory, stress and performance testing - Manage all communications related to QA status on a daily basis and report potential risks during all stages of development lifecycle - Work closely with development and product teams to resolve any issues that arise out of the testing process - Analyze test results and facilitate resolution of issues - Iterate on existing testing processes and standards to improve efficiency and accuracy Required Qualifications: - BA/BS degree required - Ability to work both independently and on a wide variety of teams - Passion for making bullet-proof applications and improving education through technology - Self-motivated, detail oriented, proactive and collaborative - Excellent written and verbal communication skills Preferred Qualifications: - Knowledge of JIRA, Unix, SQL, JavaScript, CSS, source control, and mobile device development is a plus Required Skills: UI testing, Front-end web application testing, Test planning, Test case development, Test execution reporting, Functionality testing, Regression testing, Integration testing, Smoke testing, Exploratory testing, Stress testing, Performance testing, JIRA, Unix, SQL, JavaScript, CSS, Source control, Mobile device development Benefits: Benefits
