Part-Time Lab Assistant

Job Description:

Hobart is seeking a dependable part-time Lab Assistant to support testing activities in a moderate-paced work environment. This position primarily involves general labor and support duties to help ensure efficient lab operations.

Responsibilities:

• Assist lab technicians with testing and related support tasks
• Perform general labor and housekeeping duties as needed
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area

Qualifications:

• Mechanical or electrical experience is a plus, but not required
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is a plus, but not required
• Ability to work in a moderate-paced environment and follow instructions

Requirements:

• Steel-toe or composite-toe safety shoes are required
• Demonstrated reliability, strong attendance, and a solid work ethic
• Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
• Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
