Responsibilities: - Support the Design Engineering team in developing and maintaining part, tooling, and gage designs - Assist with new product development and continuous improvement initiatives - Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, Toolroom, and Production teams - Maintain and update engineering documentation, including drawings and change management records - Gain exposure to manufacturing processes and understand the impact of design on production performance - Assist with troubleshooting design-related issues and supporting engineering projects as needed Required Qualifications: - Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Tool Design, or a related field - Experience with SolidWorks (coursework or internship) - Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills - Effective communication and teamwork abilities - Interest in manufacturing, tooling, and product design Preferred Qualifications: - Familiarity with GD&T principles - Exposure to CNC machining, milling, or turning - Understanding of tooling or fixture design concepts Required Skills: SolidWorks, GD&T, CNC machining, Milling, Turning, Tooling design, Fixture design, Engineering documentation, Analytical thinking
