STUDENT-Psychology Teaching Assistants
Location: Ithaca, NY, United States
The Dept. of Psychology is creating a pool of qualified student employee candidates for possible future openings. Must currently be enrolled as an Ithaca College student. Preference given to Psychology Majors and Psychology Minors. Junior standing or above preferred. We are seeking responsible, friendly, dedicated, detail-oriented individuals with good organizational and communication skills. Students with a strong interest in supporting the Dept. Psychology are encouraged to apply.
Student Teaching Assistants will support faculty with classroom activities and preparing course materials. They may be asked to help track attendance, as well as, engage with students (during and outside of class time), maintain classroom cleanliness, and host tutoring sessions. Duties will be dependent upon needs. For those who are applying to be a Student Assistant for a particular course or to support a professor, please note that additional skills and prerequisite experience may be required by the faculty member.
Hiring rate: $16/hr
